In Path Memory the child watches squares on a grid light up one after another and then taps them in the same order, which directly trains sequential visual memory and attention. The route gets one square longer each round, raising the difficulty gradually, and when a game is lost the level of the next session adjusts automatically to the child's current performance — so the game adapts to the child. Supported by sound cues, this repetition mechanic makes it easier for young children in particular to follow the order without forgetting; a child who completes a four-square route correctly meets five squares in the next round.
